Roxilon Description:
Roxilon, a.k.a. dimethazine and mebolazine, is a modified version of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), an anabolic steroid that was designed to treat testosterone deficiency in males. This particular drug possesses dual modifications. Firstly, it has been c-17alpha alkylated (a modification that permits the drug to pass through the liver and into the bloodstream without being deactivated, thereby making it effective for oral administration). Secondly, Roxilon includes the attachment of a methyl group at carbon 2, which increases its anabolic potency.
The result is kind of a hybrid androgen thats a powerful anabolic, a moderate androgenic, and a mild estrogenic. This combination equates to a unique cross between the stronger anabolism of Superdrol, and the non-estrogenic lean muscle, hardness/density, and vascularity promoting properties of Masteron. Roxilon is the type of steroid that favors competition athletes, and serves as an ideal ingredient for latter cutting cycle inclusion.

Roxilon is no longer being sold as a prescription medication, nor is it still commercially manufactured, or available on the black market.
Roxilon Indications/Purpose:
For bodybuilding/athletic purposes Roxilon increases testosterone levels which induce substantial increases in bodily shape and size, largely due to its ability to increase your number of muscle fibers. Androgens like testosterone also protect your hard earned muscle from the catabolic (muscle wasting) glucocorticoid hormones, by inhibiting their ability to send a message to muscle cells to release stored protein. Additionally, testosterone signals muscle cells to store more contractile protein (called actin and myosin) effectively countering the glucocorticoid hormones opposite release protein message. Furthermore, testosterone has the ability to increase erythropoiesis (red blood cell production) within your kidneys, and a higher red blood cell (RBC) count may improve endurance via better oxygenated blood. The presence of more RBCs has also been shown to improve recovery from strenuous physical activity.
The recommended dosage for Roxilon users is 10-20 mg/day for 6-8 weeks, and 2.5 mg/day for 4-6 weeks for female administration, which is often enough to keep blood serum levels well above baseline with this particular drug. More specifically, Roxilons modest muscle and strength gains along with great muscular hardening, vascularity, and overall bodily definition are slightly stronger, yet largely on par with those of the legendary cutting steroid Winstrol.
Roxilon Side Effects:
There are hosts of possibly nasty, clinically-cited side effects for testosterone usage, many of which are greatly exaggerated by the media. However, the otherwise healthy bodybuilder has much less to worry about regarding side effects.
Roxilons very low aromatization means you can expect to be virtually free from estrogenic side effects (those due to increases in estrogen estradiol, prolactin, progesterone or progestin) which generally include increased water retention, body fat gain, and gynecomastia (actually due to an imbalance in the testosterone to estrogen ratio).
However, androgenic side effects will be incurred by Roxilon users. Androgenic side effects, those having to do with male sexual characteristics, occur due to elevated testosterone levels which are likely to produce oily skin, acne, body/facial hair growth, and testicular atrophy (temporary reduction in the size of your testicles). Androgen drug use of any kind is also known to accelerate balding, but only in men with a genetic predisposition for hair loss. In other words, if youre losing or going to lose your hair then testosterone supplementation can speed up the process, but it is never the primary cause of hair loss.
Your liver may also be affected by Roxilon usage. Since its a c17-alpha alkylated and therefore hepatotoxic (liver toxic), which along with its extreme potency, Roxilon warrants a high recommendation for the use of liver detoxification supplements.
Synthetic testosterone and several other steroids, including nandrolones will shut down natural production altogether. A mere 100 mgs per week of either of these takes about 5-6 weeks to cause this shut down, 250-500 mgs shuts you down by the second week, and it takes roughly a month to return those testosterone levels to baseline. Although Roxilon may not be androgenic enough to promote shut down, it will definitely suppress natural testosterone production.
