Director Christopher Bell of the United States was recognized for his work on the steroid documentary “Bigger Stronger Faster” at 43rd annual  2008 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic on July 5, 2008. The main jury of the film festival gave Christopher Bell a special mention for “Bigger Stronger Faster*.”

“Bigger Stronger Faster*” is a critical yet balanced examination of anabolic steroids in American society; it dispelled widespread misinformation about steroids without advocating a particular point of view - either pro-steroid or anti-steroid.

The theatrical release is still available in a limited number of theaters nationwide. The critically acclaimed steroid documentary will be available on DVD on September 30, 2008.
