Please help me, this sucks so bad. The point of posting the article was to show how such an extreme case would be used in anti-steroid scare tactics. A smaller percentage of steroid users will get severe steroid-induced acne BUT the case study cited by Lancet doesn't represent steroid-induced acne - it represents severe medical neglect to a skin problem that was allowed to reach this stage.
