Brock Lesnar Upset By Steroid Questions But Not Painkiller and Alcohol Questions
[November 6th, 2008] by Millard Baker
Former WWE star Brock Lesnar was interviewed by ESPN E:60 about his highly anticipated UFC match with Randy Couture on November 15th. He was asked about his abuse of painkillers and his abuse of alcohol which he had no problem admitting. But when the subject started to turn toward the use of anabolic steroids, Lesnar quickly terminated the interview and walked out.
Brock Lesnar says he was not necessarily annoyed by the question but by its repetitiveness. He has repeatedly denied using anabolic steroids yet he is still asked the same question.
“I thought it was a good piece, I thought ESPN did a really good job of putting it together, it was just time for me to exit the building. They had been here a number of days. I have better questions to answer other than for the 300-millionth time have I ever used steroids. I was just tired of the interview and tired of them asking me questions.”
The UFC tests competitors for steroids and performance enhancing drugs during matches. UFC fighter Chris Leben recently tested positive for Winstrol and was supended.
