Anthony Torres is the first mixed martial artist to render a positive result for anabolic steroids following a UFC-administered test, Yahoo! Sports' Kevin Iole reported Wednesday.

UFC vice president Marc Ratner told Iole that Torres, 5-1, was found to have Boldenone in his system following his UFC 75 loss against Jess Liaudin (Pictures).

With the card taking place in the UK -- outside the jurisdiction of any regulatory commission that would oversee the event -- Torres will not be suspended or fined. The UFC, however, planned on informing athletic commissions of the result.

"We strongly hate steroids and we're going to do what we have to do to get them out of this sport," Ratner told Yahoo!.

Torres, a 29-year-old veteran of "The Ultimate Fighter" series, was stopped at 4:10 of the opening round against Liaudin on Sept. 8. The Hawaiian was subsequently released based upon his poor performance in London, Ratner said.

"Anthony is a good fighter, and more importantly he is a good person," Torres' agent Ken Pavia told Sherdog.com. "We've been informed of the results. I think it's an unfortunate situation and until we know the extent of the repercussions, we'll continue to weigh all options."

Other fighters subjected to random testing that night included main event participants UFC light heavyweight Quinton Jackson and his challenger Dan Henderson. Undercard competitors Michael Bisping, Houston Alexander, Dennis Siver, Terry Etim, and Gleison Tibau were also tested. All were clean for drugs of abuse and anabolic agents, Iole reported.
