Drug charges involving steroids were leveled against a Monroe teen on March 3

According to the report, a patrol officer observed a suspicious car parked at Elm Street Crossing and found three youths inside smoking marijuana.

The driver reportedly had a scale in his pocket. A search of the car was done, and in the trunk officers found hypodermic needles filled with liquid. The driver reportedly admitted that the needles were filled with steroids.

The youth was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Because he was a youthful offender under 18, his name was withheld

A REPORTED ROBBERY outside the Big Y is under police investigation.

The victim, a Big Y employee, reportedly told police an unidentified man approached him with a gun when he was leaving work.

The suspect was described as a man between 18-20, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and a bandana on his face.

The suspect allegedly pointed the gun at the victim and ordered him to hand over his car keys.

At this point, the victim reportedly wrestled the suspect to the ground, pulling the gun away and throwing it against a wall. The victim said the gun broke, and the suspect fled from the scene.

The suspect allegedly reemerged, driving away from the scene, when the victim was stuck at a traffic light on Route 111.

At this time, the suspect allegedly got out of his car and stood in front of the victim's car. The victim claimed the suspect put his hands on the roof of the car, as if to stop the victim from driving off.

The suspect eventually returned to his own car, and the victim reportedly drove off and called police, who were unable to locate the suspect.

MAN faces drunken driving charges after alleged erratic driving led to a motor vehicle stop.

Jonathan Bruckmann, 21, of

51 Jackson Drive
, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DUI) and failure to drive in the proper lane.

Bond was $500 for court March 27.

According to the police report, the officer on duty observed a Jeep Wrangler traveling southbound on
Main Street
. The car reportedly swerved over the centerline several times, prompting the officer to initiate a motor vehicle stop.

Upon approaching the car, the officer observed a strong odor of alcohol on the driver, identified as Bruckmann, who reportedly admitted that he had been drinking.
